Glen Park

Tucked just southwest of downtown River Falls, Glen Park has been a community favorite since 1898. Spanning over 40 acres, it’s the city’s oldest park, filled with history, outdoor adventure, and family funrfcity.org.

1. Walk the Swinging Bridge

A River Falls icon, the Swinging Bridge crosses the Kinnickinnic River, offering stunning views of the rushing water below. It’s the perfect spot for a morning walk or a sunset photo.

2. Cool Off at the Pool & Splash Pad

Built in the 1930s as part of Roosevelt’s New Deal, the Glen Park Pool is a summer staple. Today, families also enjoy the modern splash pad for a refreshing way to beat the heat.

3. Play Pickleball, Soccer, or Football

With dedicated pickleball courts, soccer fields, and open green spaces, Glen Park is a hub for recreation. Pickleball players especially flock here during league hours.

4. Picnic Under Towering Trees

Picnic tables, open shelters, and shady spots make Glen Park perfect for gatherings. The shelters can be reserved for birthdays, reunions, and community events.

5. Explore the Trails

Glen Park’s trails connect directly to the Kinnickinnic Pathway, linking you to River Hills Park, the Kinnickinnic River, and beyond — making it a must for walkers, joggers, and cyclists.
